Depot Museum Tiara
Simplicity in color and balanced form heighten the crown of snow on the small tree beside the Depot Museum in Batavia, IL. The depot was built in 1854 and originally stood on the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy RR line at Webster St. & Van Buren St. In 1973 it was moved to N. Water & Houston St. next to the lagoon. It is beautifully restored and hosts a number of local history exhibits. It's a slice of Americana and particularly Batavia.
