April at the Gates
The final fleecing of the year 2002 happened in March. As the gray clouds gave way to the sun, it suggested the promise of next April’s warmth. These gates are located on the west side of the Fox River in the Fabyan Forest Preserve, Geneva, IL. They are across the river from the Windmill. The columns were most likely designed by the Italian sculptor, Silvio Sylvestri, who lived on the grounds during the late teens and early 1920's. A trolley ran just outside of these gates and designated an entrance to the Fabyan estate. |

Please be aware that the actual print will vary somewhat in color, tint, and contrast from the image you see on your monitor. A variety of factors cause this; among those factors is monitor calibration and the fact that a monitor projects light where a print reflects light. Your purchase is guaranteed to please you or you may return it for a refund.
